Course Requirements:
Valero Texas City Refinery Site Specific (07VR)
Basic Orientation Plus/Basic Orientation Plus Refresher (01BSA/01BSAR)
Social Security Verification (01SSV)
Note: If the student's first attempt at taking the 07VR course results in a failing score, the student must take and pass the SCTC English Language Comprehension Exam (07SFE_EXT). The minimum passing score accepted for the 07SFE_EXT is 70%. If the student fails the 07SFE_EXT they will be suspended from the 07VR course for a period of 90 days. If the student passes the 07SFE_EXT with a grade of 70% or above, they will be allowed to retake the 07VR course. The student must make the minimum score or above in order to pass the 07VR course. If the student fails on their second attempt, they will be suspended from the 07VR course for a period of 90 days.
